Monte Azul’s mission is to form the future sustainable farmers of Puerto Rico. We believe that strong rural communities are built with a strong and robust farming community. Puerto Rico’s farmers are aging quickly and through decades of disinvestment and damage from climate disasters, the agricultural communities are struggling to stay afloat. Climate resilient agriculture is part of the solution to climate change mitigation. Through your support, we can make form the future leaders of sustainable agriculture for a healthier and stronger Puerto Rico.

Are donations tax deductible?
Yes! We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and our tax id number is 66-0902532
How will my donation be used?
Donations by default go towards our annual fund. If you’d like your gift to go towards a specific program please indicate that when processing your contribution.
Can I visit Monte Azul’s projects in Puerto Rico?
Yes, it is possible to organize a visit to our project site. Please give us a few weeks notice so that we can organize the logistics of a site visit.
Can I volunteer with Monte Azul?
Yes, we welcome volunteers whether remote or in person. If you have a knack for gardening, logistics, or are interested in lending your skills and expertise we are more than welcome to your assistance. Please contact us via email about volunteering at andrew@monteazulfoundation.org
